USeP tops agricultural engineer licensure exam

pict0028The University of Southeastern Philippines Tagum-Mabini campus ranked number one among Top Performing Schools in the country (with 20 or more examinees) in the August 2011 Agricultural Engineer Licensure Examination held in Manila, Baguio, and Davao. Two (2) USeP graduates garnered the fifth and tenth places in the same examination.

Quirico G. Munion, Jr. (80.85%) and Anthony L. Yap (80%) got the fifth and tenth places, respectively. The board topnotch rating was 85.10%. Out of the 20 USeP graduates who took the examination, 19 passed. The top performing schools in the said licensure exam are ranked as follows with their percentage passing rate: USeP (95%), University of the Philippines –Los Banos (92.59%), and Central Mindanao University (80.65%).  This accomplishment attests that USeP deserves the Center of Development in Agricultural Engineering citation given by the Commission on Higher Education in 2008.
