MESSAGE of THE DIRECTOR

drekextensionGreetings!

We welcome you to our website. Communicating with people worldwide in their homes and workplaces has been a dream come true for USeP. This technological development is a far cry from the early days of USeP Extension Division when extensionist braved the raging flood waters and travelled the dirt roads in motorcycles or cart pulled by Philippine buffalo (Carabao).

With technological advancement, the situation has greatly changed over the years, but the need to extend our research remains constant. Today, we still help farmers with current technology and innovations in improving productivity. USeP extension programs include strengthening families, foster a healthy environment and enable people and communities to prosper. With local needs at the forefront, we develop educational programs in a number of ways such as public presentations, seminars, workshops and in our Lifelong Study Center.

Regardless of the mode of delivery of the various programs, our success is measured by how well we respond to the needs of the community and bring about change that improves quality of life. We are pleased to share our extension programs in our website. We encourage you to get in touch with us with any questions and concerns that will help us to serve you better.
