Functions of the Center

By virtue of the USEP Board of Regents Resolution No. 2159 s. 1993, the Mindanao Center for Policy Studies, hereafter referred to as the Center, is mandated to carry out the following functions:
  1. Conduct policy studies at both the macro and the micro levels in the areas of education, manpower and employment; industry; agriculture, fisheries and forestry; energy; sustainable development; science and technology; and rural, urban, and regional development;
  2. Conduct studies on institutional and organizational development;
  3. Conduct studies on the development of cultural communities and other ethnic groups;
  4. Provide advisory/technical assistance services to government and non-government organizations; and
  5. Conduct seminars/workshops/training programs and short-term courses for government and non-government organizations.
