Message of the Dean

Dr. gabales 2 Welcome students, alumni, and visitors to the College of Education at the University of Southeastern Philippines, Davao City!

Situated in conducive learning environment, we strive to innovate teaching-learning processes to prepare educators at all levels. We offer graduate and undergraduate programs leading to baccalaureate, master's and doctorate degrees which are all accredited by the Accrediting Association of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP). We offer programs in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Special Education, Educational Administration, and more. We have alternative routes to teacher preparation designed for career changers through our Teacher Certificate Curriculum for Non-Education Professional (TCCNEP) and Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP). We also offer graduate program via alternative mode of instructional delivery through our virtual learning environment that provides opportunities for those pursuing graduate education who live in less accessible locations or have duties that prevent them from being full time students.

As a Center of Excellence in Teacher Education, we take the lead in producing competent and professional teachers, equipped to address the needs of the evolving educational system of the country. Through our Teacher Training Center, we established strong linkage with the Department of Education and took part in the retaining of in-service teachers to better prepare them in their chosen career. We have strong research and extension programs that are aligned to the thrust and priorities of the government towards national development.

We invite you, therefore, to discover more of what we can offer. Come and visit us any time, virtually or in person.

Good luck in your educational quests.
